Morning Star Consultive Services operates as a collaborative network of independent professionals.
Our team members are sole proprietors and incorporated businesses who operate their own practices and collaborate with Morning Star on a project-by-project basis. We come together intentionally, combining deep expertise in governance, finance, operations, strategy, programming, wellness, communications, and systems to address complex client needs.
Each consultant brings years of professional experience, an established independent practice, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, ethical, and practical solutions. Lisa Goss, PBDM, MBA, retired nurse, and founder of Morning Star Consultive Services, created the organization with a simple but powerful goal: to help charities, non-profits, associations, and purpose-driven organizations build strong foundations and thrive.
Named after the spirit name gifted to her by her Elder, Morning Star has grown into a full-service consultancy providing governance support, strategic planning, operational leadership, regulatory compliance, financial oversight, human resources guidance, organizational restructuring, and board development across multiple sectors.
With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, leadership, governance, and organizational management, Lisa brings both frontline understanding and executive-level expertise to her work. Known for her practical, compassionate, and solutions-focused approach, she helps organizations navigate complexity, strengthen governance, stabilize operations, improve workplace culture, and build systems that support long-term sustainability and impact.
Lisa has served on numerous boards and committees since 2001 and is widely recognized for her expertise in governance, policy development, operational improvement, human resources, risk management, and organizational transformation. Her work has included supporting organizations serving underserved and marginalized communities, including LGBTQPIA2S+ communities, individuals experiencing homelessness, and people facing mental health and systemic barriers. She is respected for her ability to bridge governance approaches with culturally responsive and community-informed practices.
As a Privacy Officer and governance specialist, Lisa has extensive experience navigating regulatory frameworks, compliance obligations, workplace issues, operational risk, and organizational accountability. Her MBA, combined with her master’s thesis work focused on board governance, provides the strategic and academic foundation for the systems, policies, and structures she develops for organizations.
Through Morning Star Consultive Services, Lisa supports organizations with everything from executive leadership and governance modernization to crisis management, operational reviews, leadership coaching, HR support, strategic growth, and organizational stabilization. Her work is grounded in the belief that strong organizations create stronger communities — and that meaningful impact begins with thoughtful leadership, strong systems, and people who deeply care about the work they do.

Staci Bailey has been an integral part of Morning Star Consultive Services since its inception, serving as a senior consultant and trusted collaborator whose leadership and practical expertise have helped shape the growth and impact of the firm.
With more than 25 years of experience across social services, justice, business operations, and event management, Staci brings strategic insight, operational excellence, and a calm, solutions-focused approach to every engagement.
Staci is the founder of SRB Consulting, & Define Your Fabulous Events where she provides organizational and business consulting services to non-profits, charities, and small businesses. Her work focuses on strengthening operations, improving systems, and helping organizations build the structure and capacity needed for long-term success.
She is also the creator of Define Your Fabulous, a coaching and event platform dedicated to empowering women to build confidence, embrace leadership, and create lives and careers aligned with their goals and values.
Through her work with Morning Star, Staci supports clients with operations, project management, governance, organizational development, and event planning. Her unique ability to connect big-picture strategy with practical implementation makes her a valued advisor to organizations navigating growth, change, and complexity.

Ahmed Elsayed is the founder of Right Solutions Inc., an accounting and tax services firm supporting small and medium-sized businesses, non-profits, and charities with reliable, compliance-focused financial solutions. Through his practice, Ahmed provides bookkeeping, payroll administration, and financial operations support designed to give organizations clarity, accuracy, and confidence in their numbers.
Ahmed collaborates with Morning Star Consultive Services on a contract basis, contributing his technical expertise and steady, client-focused approach to project teams and client engagements. His work supports organizations in maintaining strong financial systems, meeting statutory obligations, and making informed operational decisions.
His professional background includes experience as a Payroll Specialist and providing full-cycle financial management support across multiple sectors. Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & Management from the University of Manitoba, a Certificate with Honours in Applied Accounting from Red River College Polytechnic, and the Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation from the National Payroll Institute. He is currently completing the CPA pathway.

Alexandra (Sandy) Koropas is a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals improve their health through practical, evidence-based coaching and education.
