Morning Star Consultive Services: Turning Visions Into Realities

Pro Bono Program Update – Morning Star’s 2026 Pro Bono applications are now closed.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who took the time to apply and share their work and vision with us.

2025 Community Investment

In 2025, Morning Star Consultive Services provided $174,750 in pro bono and in-kind professional services to 

Manitoba-based non-profits, charities, professional associations, students, and emerging consultants.

This work supported organizations navigating governance, finance, regulation, workforce development, 

crisis response, and organizational transition — helping strengthen the systems, leadership, 

and internal foundations that allow good work to survive and grow.

Community Impact

Morning Star has invested more than $327,750 in community-benefit and professional services across Manitoba. 

This includes uncompensated executive advisory, governance and finance systems development, regulatory readiness, crisis and transition support, workforce and student mentorship, and capacity-building services delivered outside contracted scopes. This investment reflects our belief that strong communities are built on strong foundations — the policies, systems, leadership, and care that protect people, organizations, and missions.

Morning Star prioritizes pro bono partnerships that advance the rights, dignity, 

and wellbeing of people protected under human rights legislation.

Each year, we identify focus areas based on community need, organizational risk, 

and where our support can create the greatest protective and stabilizing impact.

we continue to walk alongside our partners beyond formal agreements — 

because building ethical, sustainable, and resilient organizations is at the heart of what we do.
