 Morning Star Consultive Services: Turning Visions Into Realities

Over the past five years, we’ve provided $153,000—and counting—in pro bono services to not-for-profits, charities, and small businesses. These partnerships help organizations thrive and make a lasting impact in their communities. (We’re currently tallying our 2025 contributions—stay tuned for the updated year-end total!)

Applications for our 2026 pro bono services will open in October.

If you’re a “keener” and want to get a head start, you’re welcome to sign up early—

we’ll reach out to those being considered in early January to discuss your needs and goals.

At Morning Star, we believe pro bono work is “heart work.” Some people say offering expertise without cost diminishes its value, and on hard days we sometimes wonder why we keep doing it. But then we hear Lisa’s grandmother’s voice: 

“Doing the right thing is often not the same as doing the easy thing.” That reminder fuels our commitment 

to supporting organizations that make a difference.

We always prioritize applicants whose work advances the rights of people protected under human rights legislation. 

In 2026, our focus will be on organizations serving the Queer community and 

children and youth with diverse abilities or facing unique challenges.

All of our clients—whether fee-based or pro bono—are deeply valued. Whenever possible, we go beyond the scope of our agreements to provide “extra” support, because helping organizations succeed is at the heart of what we do.
